About

Hello, I’m Keisha

I’ve worked in the mental health field for over eight years, but my journey began earlier as an educator in Jamaica, where I helped guide young minds toward their potential. After migrating to the U.S. in 2014, I found a way to blend my love for teaching with my passion for mental health.

Mental health has always been close to my heart. I’ve seen the effects of untreated struggles and believe that the right support can be life-changing. That belief—and a desire to break the stigma—led me to create Taylor’D Path to Wellness.

As a licensed clinician with a Master’s in Social Work, I specialize in mental health, addiction, trauma, ADHD, and PTSD. I’ve supported clients through domestic violence, grief, life transitions, and chronic mental health challenges. Helping others heal is more than my profession—it’s my purpose.

As a Caribbean native, I deeply understand the cultural norms around discipline, the normalization of physical punishment, and the subtle and overt forms of abuse many in our communities have experienced.

At Taylor’D Path to Wellness, I work with individuals of Caribbean descent to break the cycle of generational trauma. Together, we unpack harmful, inherited beliefs and begin the process of healing long-held emotional wounds. My goal is to help clients move beyond pain, rewriting their narrative to create a future rooted in strength, self-awareness, and growth—not defined by the past.

Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

I am committed to providing culturally responsive therapy that honors and affirms the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). My practice is rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and affirming space for clients of all identities. I understand the lasting impact of systemic oppression and intergenerational trauma and work collaboratively with clients to foster healing and empowerment.

I truly love what I do, and I am driven by the belief that if I can help even one person, my purpose has been fulfilled.
